Mar 16, 2017  As an aside I have been considering getting a USB3.1 card myself for my Mac Pro but had been hoping to get a 3.1 card with two type C connectors and not needing an internal power lead. I am willing to open up a hard drive bay so I can draw it from the SATA ports OR use the second six-pin connector - but so far can't find the right cabling to help me do either.
